The Hermès Régina scarf was created in 1972 to honor Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Sovereign of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, and a great friend of France, who was in Paris that year. Reissued in 1977 for the Queen's silver jubilee (25 years of reign). It’s one of the most popular designs and it has been reissued multiple times.
